There are fairy tales, the plot and characters of which do not age and are
friends with each generation of children and adults. In the puppet theater by
the main artist, Alexey Mitrofanov was created a new Cinderella. The play
"Cinderella" – is a theatrical fantasy of director Mikhail Loginov based on the
play of E.Shvarts for children 6 years old and their parents.
The action
begins with the actors’ dispute about who gets what kind of role. Why she will
become Cinderella and someone will get the role of pumpkin? And who will just
stomp on behind the scenes? Well, just like in life. Initial mise en scene for
many adults will remind the real situations. The poor stepdaughter instead of a
ball got plenty of dirty work around the house, but the fairy godmother did not
leave hardworking Cinderella in trouble and sent her to the ball where
Cinderella met Prince. The next morning after the ball, Cinderella helped her
stepsisters try on the glass slipper, but...
In real fairy tales justice,
good and beauty always win. What will be in the end of this story - the
audiences will know in the Puppet Theatre.
