A game like performance that is based on a Russian folk tale.
Thanks to the producer’s creative imagination, you can find different stories
united into one. For instance, you will see in this performance “The Giant
Turnip” and “Ryaba the Hen”. Well known to everyone tales, from childhood that
are united into an unexpected story: children help the Granddad to pull out the
turnip, sing together with Kolobok, bark like Zhuchka (the Dog), meow like the
Cat, and squeak like the Mouse. As this is a performance-game which always
implies an interaction with the viewers, the “Kolobok” is an
improvisation.
Not any play is alike: in one case artists have to control all
children who want to help the Granddaughter and Zhuchka, in another instance
they need to praise the bravest kids, that are not afraid of the Wolf, then they
ought to answer the questions where did the Mouse go to and why the is Wolfs eye
covered with a bandage. This performance is full of humor, songs and surprising
outcomes.
